- The constructions utilize the following components:
- Insulation: XLPE, EPR, or other extruded low smoke non-halogen materials
- Bedding: either lapped or extruded layer of flame retardant low smoke non-halogen compound
- Armour: galvanized steel wire or other type depending upon use
- Outer sheath: extruded layer wire of other retardant low smoke non-halogen compound
- The Walsin Lihwa LSNH compounds are formulated such that the mechanical and aging properties of the compounds are similar to existing standard sheathing materials used for the same application and thus installation practices need not change.
