Due to depleting of Ozone Layer increasingly day by day and raising of environmental consciousness, Montreal Protocol on Substances asked to prohibit of using the Halon Extinguishing systems in 1987. Owing to banning of Halon Extinguishing systems, we were in urgent need of special firefighting systems. Even though manufacturers had invented lots of Halon replacements, they still had toxic and environmental problems. Therefore the water mist firefighting system was favor by the market as a result of no depletion of Ozone Layer and greenhouse effect. Besides using fresh water, the water mist system also could use sea water for firefighting and apply it to land and marine applications.
