Features
- Super-Lite
- check valve is a special purpose valve that performs not to be required full openning. Yet, it is lighter, smaller and therefore less expensive both to install and to maintain than conventional check valves.
- Simple design
- There are only five parts in the Body of the Super-Life. They are held without the use of internal fasteners or joints of any kind. Standardized sealing material is installed O-ring seals in Seal's grooves in the Body.
- Specification
- The Super-Lite meets API-6D (except Face-To-Face on 150# 5 & 6-inch) and is available in range of size from 2" through 8" inches, JIS 10K Series. They are made in carbon steel or 304 or 316 for vaious services and temperatures. Other Size, Nominal Pressures and Materials are available on special order.
- Light weight
- Because of its sound, imaginative design the Super-Lite is smaller than conventional check valves. It has no flanges but fits between the flanges and fasteners of the line. The Super-Lite has one light plate, which is only one-fifth the average weight of a conventional disc of same strength.
- Easy installation
- The short Face-To-Face dimentions of the super-Lite allows it to be installed easily between standard flanges. Only one set of flange studs is needed, with enough length to span the valve. The Super-Lite is inherently more rigid than an equivalent length of heavy walled pipe, So no special suppotes or expansion joints are repuired.
