Since January 1998, Taiwan has adopted the most stringent motorcycle / moped emission standards. To meet CO = 3.5 g/km and HC + NOx = 2.0 g/km standards requires not only catalyst, but also catalyzed tube and secondary air system. Our low-temperature light-off and long-life catalyst can meet these standards with excellent durability, lasting up to 30,000 km.
We also manufacture metallic substrate and secondary air systems. Our products have been extensively used by motorcycle companies in Taiwan. The secondary air system channels more fresh air into the exhaust pipe, enhancing the catalytic conversion.
The higher the conversion rate, the higher the reaction temperature. The hostile environment, including the high temperature and strong vibration can lead to telescoping and melting of the metallic substrate, greatly reducing the catalyst's life. However, this thermal stress is relieved by using our flexible metallic substrate. The intact substrate ensures that the catalyst serves out its full life.
