The effect of different zinc oxides on the properties of NR was investigated. Results showed that compounds with nano size zinc oxide exhibited bigger T10 and T90 than that with other zinc oxides, but zinc oxides did not show big differences for the effects on NR¡¯s mechanical properties. It has been found that chemically pure grade zinc oxide is more effective for further improving NR's dynamical durability than others. It was suggested that microcave formed between zinc oxide coagulate and rubber matrix would be the main reason for the different dynamical performances.
