Applications:
Hydroxyethyl cellulose is widely used in pharmaceutical industry as surface activators, thickeners, suspend reagents, agglutinate reagents, emulsification reagents, film formation reagents, disperse reagents and water retention reagents.
Dissolving methods:
HEC is slowly added into the solvent under vigorous stir by small portions. If added into the water all at once, it is very difficult and slow to dissolve
