- Patented sprockets, available on all SunRace cassettes and index freewheels, deliver superior shifting. Computer-designed cogs combine specific ramps with individually angled teeth for smooth, instant drivetrain engagement.
- On conventional cassettes and freewheels, the chain can "ride up" during a gear change. SunRace cassettes and freewheels ease the chain into the right gear quickly and smoothly, so there is less noise and less friction, reducing wear on the cog and chain.
- Cassette and freewheel spacing exactly matches that of Shimano drivetrain systems, simplifying compatibility. SunRace cassette cogs are designed to mount on Shimano-compatible freehubs.
- SunRace cassettes and freewheels offer high strength and durability. Each cog, from the smallest to the largest, can withstand more than 1550 pounds of force.
- SunRace freewheels are consistently stable and accurate. The range of freewheels is unmatched in the industry: 8-speed, 7-speed, 6-speed, 5-speed, and 3-speed; index and non-index.
