The 5000 Time Attendance / Data Terminal is very efficient in managing the records of appraising employee's diligence. Moreover, it can do the data collection for a light-duty working environment. This time attendance / data terminal can process two-way communication with host computer. If multiple 5000s in a network is required, all 5000s are connected with the RS-485 communication line. There are up to 32 stations can be connected in the same bus line without repeaters (99 stations with repeaters). Basically, the 5000 provides 4 shift types as shown on the keyboard (F1 to F4), and can be extended to 40 shift types with the aid of Prefix Code feature. Also, don't worry about the power outage. The 5000 can keep working with the 1.2V, 1400mAh x 7 NiCd battery pack, same as 510's, for at least 5 hours after the external power was down.
