Antithrombin (AT), as known as antithrombin III (AT III, AT 3), is a serpin (serine protease inhibitor) that inactivates some cogulation factors involved in the contact activation pathway, such as factor Xa and factor IIa.
Antithrombin could be used in heparin assays (both anti-IIa and anti-Xa potency assay), affinity columns and so on.
Our antithrombin is prepared from bovine plasma, then puried by affinity chromotography and gel filter chromotography, and sterilized by S/D virus.
