STS meter adopts virtual media -20-digit encryption token to execute power information exchange, realizing the function of prepaid. The basic principle is as follows:
(1) Users buy certain electricity quantity;
(2) The electricity sales system generates a group of unique token according to purchased electricity quantity and meter No.;
(3) Users input the token into meter through the keyboard, thus completing recharging.
Communication protocol of the meter is compliant with the IEC62055-41 standard. All its technical specifications cater to the requirements illustrated in IEC62055-31: The IEC prepayment meter standard.
