Rotary slag cooler’s main function is cooling and screening the slag from metal smelting. It consists of the cooling cylinder, rotary screen and stainless steel shell. Cooling cylinder is soaked in the cooling water in stainless steel shell. The lifting boards inside cooling cylinder will toss up the hot slag to facilitate heat exchange between hot slag and cool air. Meanwhile, further heat exchange will happen between hot slag and cool water through cylinder wall to lower the temperature of slag. Then the cooled slag will be sorted through rotary screen by sizes. Some is for sale and some will go further to the next process.
To be a complete system, there shall also be cool water recycling system, dedust system and steam air fan, which are available from JONO.
