Basic Information:
Aramid is known as the "poly benzene 2 formyl para-phenylene diamine", which is a new type of high-tech synthetic fiber, with ultra-high strength, high modulus and high temperature resistant, excellent acid and alkali resistance, light weight, insulation, anti-aging, long-life cycle and other excellent properties. Nowadays, aramid is widely used in composite material, bulletproof products, building materials, special protective clothing, electronics and other special fields.
In generally, aramid fiber contains two kinds—meta-aramid(PMIA) and para-aramid(PPTA), and is respectively equal to Nomex and Kevlar in America.
