Usage of this device
Steelmaking arc furnace inputs electric energy into furnace by graphite electrode. Electric arc producing between electrode tips and furnace burden is used as heat source to smelt steel. The heat source of electric arc furnace is electric energy. Atmosphere inside the furnace can be adjusted, which is helpful to melt steels containing easier oxidation of elements.
