Enrofloxacin Injection
Description: Enrofloxacin belongs to the group of quinolones and acts bactericidal against mainly Gram-negative bacteria like Campylobacter, E.coli, Haemophilus, Pasteurella,
Salmonella and Mycoplasma spp.
Indications: Gastrointestinal , respiratory and urinary tract
infections caused by enrofloxacin sensitive micro-organisms, like
Campylobacter, E. coli, Haemophilus, Mycoplasma, Pasteurella and Salmonella
spp. in calves, goats, poultry, sheep and swine.
Dosage and administration:
For oral administration:
Cattle, Sheep and goats: Twice daily 10ml per 75-150kgbody weight for 3-5 days.
Poultry: 1 litre per 1500-2000 litres of drinking water for 3-5 days.Swine: 1 litre per 1000-3000 litres of drinking water for 3-5 days.
NOTE: for pre-ruminant calves, lambs and kids only.
