2. Usage:
This product is suitable for use rated AC voltage U(Um) 10(12)KV overhead transmitting circuit.
3. Properties for Use
1) Rated voltage is 10KV.
2) Temperature for laying cable should be not less than -20°C.
3) For short circuit (5s), the max. cable temperature is: HDPE insulation 150°C, XLPE insulation 250°C.
4) Max. work temperature of cable conductor for a long period is:
a. Cable with stress structure: HDPE insulation 75°C, XLPE insulation 90°C.
b. Cable without stress structure has not been stipulated in GB, for actual situation, it should not exceed stipulated value “a”.
5) The time for cable single phase earthing breakdown is not more than 1min, also the longest should not exceed 8h each time and an annual accumulation not exceeding 125h.
6) Allowed cable bend radius should be not less than:
a. Single-core cable 20(D+d)±5%mm, TR structure is 20Dmm;
b. Multi-core cable 15(D+d)±5%mm.
