Zhongbo Magnetic Separator
Magnetic separator is the use of magnetic force and mechanical force on different magnetic mineral particles of different role to achieve the mineral separation. Magnetic separator is widely used in ferrous metal ore beneficiation, coloured and rare metal ore selection, heavy medium separation of medium recovery from non-metallic mineral raw materials, removal of iron impurity from the smelting production, steel slag recycling scrap, and refractory materials, food, feed, chemical raw materials industry.
Magnetic separator structure features:
Wet permanent magnetic drum magnetic separator is mainly composed of a magnetic system, cylindrical, roller, brush roller, transmission device,totally six parts. Magnetic system adopts permanent magnetic circuit that has the features of less magnetic leakage, high magnetic field strength, the depth of large, difficult demagnetization effect. Tank adopts a cylindrical structure with multiple functions, large capacity, high recovery rate, stable and reliable running, convenient operation and maintenance, low energy consumption. The roller can rotate separately ,driven by electrical motor through a speed reducer, chain, sprocket.
Magnetic separator operating principle:
Slurry flows through the tank to tank mine. Under the action of the mine water in the pipe ,mineral particles get into the tank in loose state of mine. The role of the magnetic field magnetic separator is that: magnetic mineral particles occur together to form magnetic "magnetic group" or "flux", "magnetic group" or "flux" in the pulp by the magnetic effect, to pole movement, which was adsorbed on the cylinder. As the magnetic polarity along the cylinder rotation is alternately arranged, and fixed at work,when"magnetic group" or "flux" rotate with the cylinder, due to alternating magnetic poles arising from the phenomenon of magnetic stirring, gangue and other non-magnetic minerals mixed In the "magnetic group" or "flux" fall off in the turning.
At the end , "Magnetic group" or "magnetic Lotus" sucked in the cylinder surface is concentrate. Concentrate with the magnetic cylinder get to the edge of the weakest of the magnetic system.Under the function of flushing water it is unloaded into the concentrate tank. If it is the whole magnetic roller, unloading ore is carried out by brush roll. Non-magnetic or weakly magnetic minerals are left in the pulp and then discharge the slurry , which is tailings.
