Ranger 500X w/ 802.11 Wireless, Survey Pro
The Spectra Precision Ranger™ data collector from Tripod Data Systems™ features the Windows Mobile® 5.0 operating system, an ergonomic keypad and military-grade durability. Wireless capabilities let you connect without cables. The Ranger 500X has a 520 MHz processor with 128 MB of SDRAM and 512 MB of on-board Flash and integrated Bluetooth. The Ranger also gives you the option for integrated 802.11 wireless on the 500X. Also, the Ranger has USB host and client ports. CompactFlash (CF) and Secure Digital (SD) slots let you add multiple accessories and increase data storage. You can use the Ranger’s two CF slots to add GPS, GPRS, bar code scanners and other CF devices. Optional CF-Caps accommodate larger devices.
