Alkan LTD. was established in the year of 1973 in the metropolitan area in Taksim Istanbul Turkey, due to wholesale selling of Skoda motor vehicles' original genuine spare and replacement parts.

In 2001, Alkan LTD., moved to their new warehouse in Ikitelli Istanbul and in the year of 2003 Volkswagen Group vehichles' all spare and replacement parts was added to the product range. With the product variety of 4.000 items of well-known brands*, in order to service better to immensely increasing customer portfolio, Alkan LTD., launched a much more large-scale new warehouse/store in Kartal Istanbul in 2011.
