Aircraft docking systems are special working platform fitted around the aircraft and make it easy for maintainers to get any place of the aircraft. According to different service areas, the aircraft docking systems usually include nose docks, tail docks, fuselage docks and wing docks, etc.. Regarding different aircraft types, the structures of docking systems including numbers of working platforms, interval height and corresponding functions are also different.
All the above docks can be divided into three types: grounded (moved on tracks or wheels), hanged (below the truss) and combined both. Aircraft docking systems can work together with other servicing equipments, such as crane systems, telescopic platforms and normally platforms, which will make the dock move more freely and easily.
