Vacuum deairing with fine steel, it is easy for cutting after quenching ,high hardness, good abrasion resistance ,dimension stability and minimal distortion.
Applications:
It is suitable for cutting tools, such as broach, filament hammer and gauge and complex shape of cold mould, plastic mould, precise screw, etc.
Chemical Composition (%):
C :0.85~0.95 Si:≤0.40 Mn:0.90~1.20 S :≤0.030 P :≤0.030 Cr:0.50~0.80 Ni: ≤0.25 Cu: ≤0.30 W :0.70~1.2
Heat Treatment Standard:
Quenching, 800 ~ 830 centigrade cold oil.
Forging:
Oil quenching cold die has crack sensitivity,so it should not be quickly heated,it had better for a preheating in 650-750 centigrade .The temperature of forging is 1130-1150 centigrade, eventually temperature should be more than 800-850 centigrade, steel ingot take upper limit temperature.while blank forging take lower temperature.
