Polished rod is an important part for connecting pump unites to sucker rod string in rod-pumping system. Nomis provide two sorts of polished rod, standard polished rod and one end upset type polished rod. Both polished rod are designed in accordance with API Spec 11B and are made of fine alloy steel.
Polished rod is featured by high strength, good toughness, smooth surface, and long service life. The tensile strength of polished rod is 655~1,102Mpa (95,000~160,000psi).
In general, standard polished rod connects with polished rod coupling but one end
upset polished rod connects with sucker rod coupling.
