Copper Sulphate
Product Name: Copper Sulphate (Copper Sulfate, Cupric Sufate)
CAS NO.: 7758-98-7
EINECS NO.: 231-847-6
HS NO.: 2833.250000
Formula: CuSO4.5H2O
Appearance: Small blue and clean crystal
Executive Standard: Feed grade HG2932-1999. Industry grade GB437-93.
Introduction
CuSO4 5H2O is dark blue lumpish crystals or dark powers, poisonous and non-smell, with the astringency of metal. It has a 24% to 25% content of cuprum, a relative density of 2.284 and tends to dehydrated into white powers in dry air. It is soluble in water, alcohol, glycerine and liquid amine, with acidity. When heated to 30 C, it will lose its crystal water, and become white anhydrous substance, and when continued to be heated to 341 C, it will decompose to sulfur dioxide and oxygen and cupric oxide, which is black.
1. Copper Sulphate can soluble in water and diluted acetic acid.
2. The solution appears as weak acidity.
3. It will be effloresces slowly in dry air, and its surface will become white powder substance.
4. Copper Sulphate will lose four crystal water when heated to 110, and will be changed into white copper sulfate anhydrous which is easy to absorb water when the temperature is higher than 150.
Application
1. used for extracting the other copper.
2. used as textile mordant, agricultural pesticides, fungicides, for water treatment, dyestuffs, preservative, in medicines, and Leather
Usage: Widely used in mineral processing industry, feed, agriculture, industry.
Packing: 25kg pp bag, 25MT/20FCL
Storage: At dry and ventilated places, preventing damps and rains
