1.2080 Cold Work Mould Steel is an air hardening, high carbon high chromium, Cold Working Mould Steel with excellent resistance to abrasion and wear. 1.2080 has good through hardening characteristics combined with dimensional stability with high resistance to tempering.
1.2080 Cold Work Mould Steel of Features:
High hardenability, high hardness, high wear resistance, small deformation after quenching, good toughness
Supply Condition and Hardness:
Annealed, hardness ≤ 255HBS; Spheroidization annealed, hardness ≤ 245HBS.
Quenching and Tempering Specification:
The first preheating temperature 500 ~ 550° C, the second preheating temperature 800 ~ 850° C, quenching temperature 1030 ~ 1050° C, Air quenching, or oil quenching to 200° C, then Air Cooled. Tempering temperature of 500° C, then air cooled, tempering 2 times.

1)All kinds of high wear resistance\long life Cold Stamping Die and Cold Cut Blade, Roll Plate and so on.
2)Apply to complex and probable deformed of tool modules.
