AISI H11 Hot Work Die Steel of Features:
H11 is air hardening hot work die steel, its performance and service life are higher than 3Cr2W8V steel. Has a high hardenability, good overall performance under the middle temperature, small deformation when heat treatment, good resistance to thermal fatigue performance. Is also Alloy Tool Steel, better adapted to water forced cooling, used for extrusion dies, the life is closely related with extruded materials and extrusion ratio.
Supply Condition: Hardness≤ 235HBS
Quenching and Tempering specification: Preheat temperature 790° C, Quenching Temperature 1000° C(Salt bath) or 1010° C(Controlled atmosphere), heat preservation 5~15min, then air cooling; Tempering temperature 550° C, hardness≥ 60HRC.
Gas nitriding and gas nitrocarburizing specification:
Technical requirements: Hardness> 1000HV, Depth 0.10 ~ 0.20mm, Nitriding temperature of 530 ~ 550° C, the gas ratio is 100% ammonia, ammonia decomposition rate is 30% ~ 40%, holding time 10 ~ 20h, can be used for die casting die, hot forging die, hot extrusion die, warm extrusion die
