Crimped wire mesh is identified from a wire crimped only in the points of intersection before weaving. It offers great dimensional strength and stability, great resistance to abrasion, uniform openings and excellent anticorrosion. It is usually used as quarry screen in mine, quarry and other industrial fields as sieving, grading and separating screening materials. Stainless steel crimped wire mesh is popularly used for decoration, and it is also a good material to make the BBQ Grill.

Wire cloth woven of previously crimped wires provides accurate openings and is woven tighter than plain weave.

Pre crimped woven wire mesh also name Space Screen and Square Mesh in 28 mesh and coarser are typically woven of precrimped wires. The opening is normally determined by the size and style of the crimp. Our Pre-Crimp mesh in normally woven with wire diameters ranging from .035" - .375" and openings ranging from less than .250" - 6".

Weaving after crimping have four types: Single Crimp, Double Crimp, Intermediate Crimp, Lock Crimp, Flat Top.

Crimped wire mesh is made on request and the wire used may be round or square. It can be supplied in rolls, sheets or custom sizes.

Basic parameters:
Aperture width: 10 - 120 mm in the case of multi-notch meshes and
4 - 40 mm in the case of single-notch meshes.
Wire diameter: 1.0 - 5.5 mm
Mesh width: up to 2000 mm
