Particle size distribution analysers are widely used throughout industry and academia to measure and analyze the particle size and distribution of powders, suspensions, emulsions and aerosols etc. The instruments are cost effective and their combination of technical performance, simplicity of use and attractive price makes them an attractive proposition. The systems use low angle laser light scattering as their measurement principle and are designed to measure the size distribution of particles in liquid suspension. Each system comes equipped with a dispersion unit which delivers the particles in liquid suspension to the measurement unit. Control of the measurement unit and data analysis is carried out using an external PC. The analysis reports include: Particle size distribution table & graph, average diameter, median diameter, boundary diameter, Specific surface area etc.
