They are alpha- celluloses made from cotton linters by alkaline cooking, bleaching and cleaning for industrial purposes. The pulps are for producing acetate, nitrocellulose and cellulose ethers. They are widely used in food additivess, pharmaceuticals, daily- chemicals, construction materials, paper- making aerospace and military indstries.
