Description: Amoxycillin is a broad spectrum, semi-synthetic penicillin active against both Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria. The range of effect includes: streptococci, not penicillinase producing staphylococci, Bacillus anthracis, Corynebacteria spp.
Indications: Infections of the alimentary tract, respiratory tract, urogenital tract, such as flu, pneumonia, pleuropneumonia, rhinitis, oedema, dysentery, enteritis, nephritis, cystitis, urethritis, dermatitis,coli-mastitis
Contra-indications: Do not administer to new-borns and small herbivores such as rabbits. Do not administer as S.C. injection to horses. Do not administer to animals with a hypersensitivity to penicillin's and to animals with a severe renal failure.
Side effects: Hypersensitivity reactions may occur.
Dosage: Shake well before use. For intramuscular or subcutaneous administration only . 0.1ml per 1kg bodyweight, equivalent to 15mg amoxycillin per kg bodyweight, then massage injection site. repeatable, if necessary, after 48 hours for maximum 3 5 days.
Withdrawal times: Meat : 14 days
