Upon arrival, meet & transfer to hotel. After dinner transfer to Thang Long Theater to enjoy a Water Puppet show.

Morning visit: Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum - In the tradition of Lenin, Stalin and Mao, the final resting place of Ho Chi Minh is a glass sarcophagus set deep in the bowels of a monumental edifice that has become a site of pilgrimage. One Pillar Pagoda - The One Pillar Pagoda, built of wood on a single stone pillar 1.25 metres in diameter, is designed to resemble a lotus blossom, symbol of purity, rising out of a sea of sorrow. Ho Chi Minh Stilt House - behind Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum is a stilt house where Ho lived on and off from 1958 to 1969. The house is built in the style of Vietnam's ethnic minorities and has been preserved just as Ho left it. It 's set in a well-tended garden next to a carp-filled pond. Just how much time Ho actually spent here is questionable - the house would have made a tempting target for US bombers had it been suspected that Ho could be found here. Temple of Literature - is a pleasant retreat from the street of Hanoi. The temple constitutes a rare example of well-preserved traditional Vietnamese architecture and is will worth a visit. After lunch proceed to Ha Long Bay- with its 3,000 islands rising from the clear, emerald waters of the Gulf of Tonkin, is one of the natural marvels of Vietnam. These tiny island are dotted with innumerable beaches and grottoes created by the wind and the waves. Overnight in Ha Long.

Morning boat trip on Halong to visit Thien Cung & Dau Go Caves, Titop island. Lunch on boat. Afternoon back to Hanoi to visit: 36 Old Quarters - The Old Quarter is demarcated roughly speaking, by Hoan Kiem lake, the Citadel, Dong Xuan Market and the ramparts of the Red Rivers. As they have since the 15th century, the narrow streets of the Old Quarter bear names that reflect the business once conducted there: Silk Street, Rice Street, Paper Street, Broiled Fish Street, Vermicelli Street, Jewellers Street, Paper Votive Objects Street and so forth. This interesting area now houses a variety of small shops. Hoan Kiem Lake, Ngoc Son Temple.

Early morning transfer to airport for flight to Hue. Upon arrival, meet & transfer to hotel. In the afternoon wander through the ruins of the Imperial City - Located in the Citadel, it was built in the early 19th century and modeled after the Forbidden City in Peking. There are numbers palaces and temples within these walls, as well as towers, a library and a museum. Ngo Mon Gate, Thai Hoa Palace, Halls Of The Mandarins, Nine Dynastic Urns, Forbidden Purple City - This was reserved for the personal use of the emperor. The only servants allowed into the compound were eunuchs, who would pose no threat to the royal concubines. (Today the site is in ruins). The principal entrance to the Imperial Enclosure, facing the flag tower. The central passageway with its yellow doors was reserved for use by the emperor, as was the bridge across the lotus pond. And venture into the surrounding hills to visit the tombs of Emperor Khai Dinh - This was the last monument of the Nguyen dynasty and was constructed between 1920 and 1931. It sits magnificently on the slopes of Chau E Mountain in Chau Chau Village. It has a long staircase flanked by dragons. There are ceiling murals and ceramic frescoes. Tu Duc - Emperor Tu Duc, who ruled Hue more than 100 years ago, built his tomb when he was still alive and used it for meditation, reading and theater performances. There are pavilions in a tranquil setting of forested hills and lakes. The tomb was constructed between 1864 and 1867. Tu Duc, who was the longest reigning Emperor, lived a luxurious life. AM aboard a sampan on the serene Perfume River stopping to see Thien Mu pagoda - Just outside of Hue, on the bank of the Perfume River, this was a hotbed of anti-government protest during the early 1960s. Behind the main sanctuary of the pagoda is the Austin motorcar which transported the monk Thich Quang Duc to the site of his 1963 self-immolation. After lunch depart to Hoi An via Da Nang. Journey across the spectacular Hai Van Pass - The pass crosses over a spur of the Truong Son Mountain Range that just into the South China Sea. It is an incredible mountainous stretch of highway with spectacular views. Visit to Cham Museum - displaying artifacts from the Champa Kingdom before driving south to the ancient merchant town of Hoi An. Visit Hoi An Ancient town.

Morning visit China Beach - Made famous in the American TV series of the same name. During the war, American soldiers were airlifted here for rest and relaxation. Marble Mountain - Five stone hillocks, once islands, made if marble. Each is said to represent one of the five elements of the universe. The largest and most famous, Thuy Son, has a number of natural caves in which Buddhist sanctuaries have been built over the centuries. When the Champas ruled this area, these same caves were used as Hindu shrines. Then transfer to Danang airport for flight to Nha Trang. Upon arrival, meet & transfer to hotel. After noon visit Cham PoNarga Tower were built between the 7th and 12th centuries, there were seven or eight towers at PoNagar, four of which remain. Morning boat trip to visit some islands, exploring the Oceanographic Institute - founded in 1923, has an aquarium (Ho Ca) and specimen room open to the public, it also has a library. The 23 ground floor tanks are home to a variety of colorful live specimens of local marine lift, including seahorses. After lunch drive to Dalat, on the way, visit outside Cam Ranh bay, there are beautiful beaches around Cam Ranh Bay - indeed, Americans stationed here during the war sometimes called it Vietnam's Hawaii. Visit Ngoan Muc Pass. Overnight in Dalat.

Full day visit Valley of Love - Named the Valley of Peace by Emperor Bao Dai, the Valley of Love (Thung Lung Tinh Yeu), had its name changed in 1972 (the year Da Thien Lake was created) by romantically minded students from Dalat University. The place has taken on a carnival atmosphere; tourist buses line up to regurgitate visitors and boat line up to accommodate them. Former palace of Emperor Bao Dai - is a tan, 25 room villa constructed in 1933. The de麡or has not changed in decades except for the addition of Ho Chi Minh's portrait over the fireplace. The palace, filled with artifacts from decades and governments past, is extremely interesting, Lake of Sight is a natural lake enlarged by a French-built dam. According to legend, there a couple fell in love here in 1788, but at that time Vietnam was threatened by Chinese invasion and the man joined the army without waiting to tell the girl. She sent word to him to meet him at the lake. When he did not come she was overcome with a sorrow and, to prove her love, threw herself into the conveniently located lake and drowned. AM visit Dalat central market, then return to Saigon, on the way visit Prenn Falls, Dambri Falls, Coffee & tea fields in Bao Loc.

Day trip to My Tho (Mekong Delta) - 80km southwest of HCM city, a quiet town in the Mekong Delta that offers riverside views, rice paddies, ever-green fruit orchards. Visit ancient Vinh Trang Pagoda built at the end of the 17th century and enjoys a wonderful boat trip along Mekong river, Enjoy lunch with a special dish named "Elephant-Ear Fish". Back to HoChiMinh city to visit : Chinatown - Cholon Thien Hau Temple - the oldest Chinese temple

AM, we will proceed to Cu Chi Tunnel Village and underground tunnels to experience the famous Vietnam War (1965 - 1975). The system that lies 75km northwest of Ho Chi Minh city centre is where the Vietcong have lived and fought against the enemies. You will also get to see part of intricate network of underground tunnels, kitchens, food storage bunkers, medical centre, barracks and other military posts built by Vietcong. Return to Saigon for lunch After lunch visit: Notre Dame Cathedral - built between 1877 & 1883, it has a neo-Romanesque form and two 40m-high square towers, tipped with iron spires, that dominate the city's skyline. In front of the cathedral is a statue of the Virgin Mary. Main Post Office - Saigon's French-style main post office, the structure was built between 1886 & 1891 and is by far the largest post office in Vietnam. City Theater, War Museum - where American tanks, infantry weapons, photographs of war atrocities committed to by the Americans and Chinese are in display here. History Museum - a find collect on of sculpture, pottery and other artifacts from all major historical periods from the Bronze Age Dong Son civilization through the Funan, Chenla, Khmer and Cham periods to the various Vietnamese dynastic eras. Lacquer ware factory - to see for yourself how lacquer ware, that can be used for decoration is being made out of mother-of-inlaid and egg shells.
