JW3206 series intelligent power meter may be used to measure optical power in Cable TV, Telecom or broadband fiber optic networks. It can measure the attenuation (insertion loss) of multimode or single-mode cables. The JW3206 stores reference settings for each calibration wavelength and can verify the frequency automatically. An easy to read LCD display shows optical power (dBm or Xw) or insertion loss (dB) and the calibrated wavelength.
