OMEGA TYPE DRBC-115 Decade Resistance Boxes & TYPE MO-121 Megohm Boxes are precision instruments intended for general laboratory use and educational purposes. These are used as a multiplier, shunt, substitution resistor, or as an arm for AC or DC bridges. One percent precision high stability cracked carbon resistors of one watt ratting are used. Boxes using high stability cracked carbon resistors are preferred for high frequency operation to boxes using wire wound resistors because the former are non-inductive and non-capacitive. Further they can withstand high wattage dissipation at lower values of resistance. The Decade Resistance Boxes use 11-position switches to select any resistance value which can be read directly by the knob settings.

OMEGA TYPE DL-120 Decade Inductors are convenient elements for use in wave filters,
equalizers and tuned circuits throughout the range of audio and low radio frequencies. As components in oscillators, analyzers and similar equipment, they are specially useful during the preliminary design period, when the ability to vary circuit elements over relatively wide ranges is necessary to determine optimum operating values. Each unit is an assembly of four inductors wound on iron dust-cores, which are combined by switching to give eleven successive values from 0 to 10. Each inductor coil is potted with
compound in a separate can to provide electrostatic shielding. These inductors are secured to a
processed silver grey aluminium panel, fitted on polished sunmica finished wooden Box.

OMEGA TYPE -108 Variable Inductors will find great uses in the laboratory as adjustable standards of moderate accuracy for self and mutual inductance. The unit can be used as circuit elements in Bridges, Oscillators and in many other electronic circuits.
Rotor and stator coils are mounted concentrically. The effective inductance depends upon the position of the rotor with respect to the stator. Coils are impregnated with high melting point material. In case of self inductors, the dial is marked with effective value of inductance in series connection. The range of variation
will be one-fourth when the coils are connected in parallel. In case of mutual inductors the values of mutual inductance are marked. Variable inductors with dials marked with self inductance in series and mutual inductance as well are also available. These are highly stable secondary standard of Self and Mutual Inductance for general laboratory
applications. These are supplied in sunmica finished wooden boxes. These inductors are secured to a
processed silver grey aluminium panel. In case of mutual inductance value, D.C. resistance of primary &
secondary coils and maximum current in primary coil is mentioned on the panel & in case of fixed
inductors maximum current in primary & D.C. resitance are also mentioned on the panel. Ferrite core have high Q and low resistance in comparision to air core inductors. Two jack-topped binding parts are used as output terminals. One terminal has been provided for grounding.

OMEGA TYPE ATR-175 A.F. Attenuator provides a simple means of voltage attenuation normally required for electronic measurements and telecommunication work. Both the terminal sides are isolated from ground and either side can be connected.
