● Single Seal
● Unbalanced
● Independent of Direction of Rotation
● Elastomer Bellows
Mechanical seals of the BGM1 series are amongst the most commonly used. The bellows is not subjected to any torsional stress and its ingenious design incorporates several functions, as seal face carrier, secondary sealing element and drive collar. The seal face is driven through the spring and "L"-rings. There are not bonded joints and all the face materials are interchangeable without having to modify any dimensions. Highly recommended for duties with media containing solids e.g. in waste water and sewage applications.
Materials for Mechanical Seals:
● Face Materials: Carbon Graphite / Silicon Carbide/Tungsten Carbide/Metal Oxide
● Secondary Seal Components: NBR/VITON/EPDM
● Spring and Construction Materials: Stainless Steel
Operating Limits:
● Pressure: ≤1.6 MPa
● Temperature : -20℃~140℃
● Linear Velocity: ≤10 M/S
