Molecular sieve
Molecular sieve is one kind of crystal silicate. It has features of symmetrical pore diameter and very high surface area. The advantages of it are:
a.According to the difference of size and shape of molecule, it will have different adhesive effects. In other words, molecular sieve will only absorb those molecules with smaller diameter than itself.
b.For those polar & unsaturated molecules, molecular sieve has the feature of selective absorption. The stronger the polarity & unsaturated, the molecular will have stronger absorption.
