Stainless Steel Straw Stainless steel straw is perfect for its durability. The heat treatment process that it undergoes makes it ideal for long-term use. The inside can be cleaned with a long cleaning brush. This straw is ideal for use in cold or hot beverages and can withstand impact. If you opt for this, please select stainless steel straws made with 18/10 stainless steel to ensure corrosion resistance, as some acidic drinks could easily damage the straws otherwise. Bamboo Straw These straws are naturally sourced from the environment, and thus are completely compostable and biodegradable. They are however much harder to clean and the cleaning requires using boiling the bamboo straw in vinegar water. If the environment is humid, mould and other bacteria could harbor inside very easily. It is very important to keep these straws dry.
 
Borosilicate Glass Straw These straws are transparent and is easy to clean as you can see the dirt and residue inside the straw. Like the stainless steel straw, it is lightweight and can endure hot or cold temperature. One caveat is that because of its hardness, it can easily break upon impact.
One-time Use Disposable Straw
These disposable straws can be reused if needed, but as the name states, it is meant for one-time use. Cleaning is difficult as the material is made with corn starch or sugarcane material which does not provide durability. These are economic and more suitable for economic fast-food restaurants or take-outs.
