The art of Edna Hibel has been exhibited to high acclaim in National Museums and prestigious galleries in scores of countries. People everywhere are taken by Hibel's sensitive messages of beauty, joy, love, and compassion. This is why she was commissioned by the National Archives to paint "Our Mothers Before Us" to commemorate the ratification of the 19th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution on the occasion of its 75th anniversary. It is a true representation of 'The Heart and Conscience of America' as only Edna Hibel could render it. This painting was on its year-long national tour, including being shown at HibelFest New England, HibleFest Palm Beach, and HibelFest in America's Heartland in Chicago.
