• Design: the life jacket SRW-II is folded and packed in a small pouch attached to the belt worn around the waist. From this position it can be quickly placed around the neck and inflated. The design and quality of SRW-II is a guarantee of safety for both swimmers and non swimmers. The design would force an exhausted or unconcious wearer into the correct position within a matter of seconds and maintain it for an indefinite period. The neck and head well supported and cushioned, ensure that the face and mouth are held out of water even in rough seas.
• Quality of materials: Tough and durable materials are an essential requirement for a life jacket and this is what SRW-II consists of. It is non corrosive and does not rot with time. It is fabricated with materials most suited to provide excellent resistance to extended exposure to sun, sea water and fresh water.
• Safety factor: our life jacket SRW-II being bright orange in color is conspicuously visible from a distance. It is absolutely leak proof. When fully inflated gives a buoyancy of at least 40 Lbs which is well above the safety margins laid down in the specifications. The life jacket is perfectly safe and buoyant even when semi inflated. As a standard item the life jacket includes a light bulb assembly. The bulb is powered by a dry battery contained in a water proof capsule. To operate the light bulb a plug is inserted into a slot in the capsule. An optional water activated battery can also be provided as a replacement of the standard light assembly. A whistle tucked in a small whistle pouch is also a regular feature of the jacket. The jacket can be provided with an optional compressed Gas System of inflation in addition to the existing oral inflation system.
