Asahi BembergTM-Cotton-Born Fiber
The raw material of bemberg is linter available from cotton (an annual plant).
Cotton linter can be produced at one-year cycles. Therefore bemberg does not contribute to environmental disruption such as deforestation seen in some wool pulp operations (raw material for rayon fiber). Bemberg is a unique regenerated cellulose fiber that features both a degree of "gentleness unique to nature fiber" and the "functionality of a man-made fiber". It is extensively used in diverse fields such as high quality linings and lingerie, as well as in apparel applications.
