New compact printer with a visible difference: available from Able Systems is the recently launched Ap1000 thermal panel mounting printer, which is encased in a unique clear plastic housing, designed in accordance with many popular European size specifications. The printer measures 130mmH x 100mmW x 65mmD. Available in 24 or 42 column versions, this printer offers a print speed of 96 characters per second, the equivalent to 4 lines per second in 24 columns mode.
