Since its establishment in 1984, Takao has grown to become the third largest manufacturer of second aluminum alloy ingots in Taiwan. In 1992, Takao was registered with the London Metal Exchange, a step leading Takao's ingots towards being a LME registered brand. In May 1995, Takao acquired 9000 square meters of the nearby land. Hence the total plant area of Takao increases to 20,874 square meters. With the installation of a special furnace in May 1996, Takao's production capacity reaches 4,200 MT per month. In September 1997, Takao listed on the OTC. Takao's products are widely used in die-casting for the automotive and electrical components such as oil pump assembly, car air conditioning parts, motors of electric fans and so on.
