Hengtong Bus's current production facilities in Chongqing Hengtong Automotive Industrial Park, is one of the largest, most modern and most advanced bus production facilities in China. It covers a building area of about 180,000 square meters and a manufacturing area of about 80,000 square meters. There are over 2,800 employees and more than 500 technical & engineering professionals in various specialties, including over 150 senior and expert-level engineers.
Our facilities now include two main 400m production lines for various luxurious touring buses, city buses and community minibuses (4.5 - 18m, 9 - 80 seats), and one complete commercial passenger vehicle chassis production line with an annual capacity of more than 15,000 buses. Additionally, we have one advanced commercial passenger van production line that has be put into production since 2009.
The industrial park also possesses one provincial level automotive research center, one post-doctorate level field research station in alternative fuel vehicle applications, and one state-level alternative fuel vehicle application research institute supported by an excellent team of qualified technical staff in the fields of the development, testing and manufacturing of passenger vehicles, passenger buses and luxury vans.
In 2008, our company also supplied for 2008 Beijing Olympic Games as an official athlete transport vehicle provider. Hengtong will serve this great international sporting event with pride.
