Bel Trade was established in 1974 and has grown steadily over the years.

The Group is a testimonial to the entrepreneurial character and dedication of the people who work here and have made it their Group - a business group filled with a 'can do' spirit supported by a customer service oriented team of professional managers. Over the course of 30 years, the Group has grown to be a well-known business name, locally as well as abroad. Bel Trade's guiding principles have always been adherence to quality in all facets of group activity and a commitment to service. Sales turnover for the year 2003 should be well in excess of US$100 million.

Bel Trade comprises of more than thirty companies in Hong Kong, China and overseas. The Group's business is diversified and includes: manufacturing, representation and distribution, international trade, securities trading and real estate investment & development.

The group trades in automotive products, photographic film and paper, magnetic health products, timber, building material, agricultural and native products, essential oils and commodities such as coal, coke and steel.

Bel Trade has two wood product manufacturing facilities in China: one in Guangdong province and the other in Fujian province. These factories produce: solid wood flooring strips used for commercial, residential or sports purposes, doors, finger joint products, and other customized wood products. The Group also has a forest concession in Sanming, Fujian province. The Group actively promotes sustainable logging policies and the use of easily replenished bamboo, pine and fir, which are indigenous to China.
